Design is crucial. Not only does a unit need to attract the customer - it must stand up to a hard life on the retail floor without any signs of weakness or wear.

Our reservoir of knowledge is vital. We know the board for the job. If the liner's too light, the header falls apart. If the corrugations are too prominent, the print won't be sharp.

Concepts can be originated by our in-house design team, or they can come from the customer. Our designers then use CAD to calculate angles and folds, so they know if the idea is viable at an early stage.

Then follows a process that identifies potential problems with structure and materials - so they can be designed out of the project. First comes model-making. Then a full-size prototype. Finally, if necessary, trials in pilot stores.
