What is screen printing?

In simple terms, it is the transfer of ink through a mesh utilising a stencil. The open or "non-stencil" areas are what help to create an image onto a substrate.

Typical applications for screen print are:

  • Point-of-sale boards
  • Point-of-sale display units
  • Signage
  • Exhibition panels

The advantages to screen print are:

  • Great value for medium size projects
  • Good output on solid colours
  • Well suited to "challenging" substrates such as corrugated board

Modern screen printing
silkscreen

Screen printing has come a long way since the early days.

Process colours are checked by digitally reading the colour density and line colours are mixed using our computer controlled matching system.

This all helps to ensure that the results are always consistent and accurate to your existing brand and livery
